On the cusp of running away to become America’s favorite college basketball team BYU announced that they have suspended starting forward, Brandon Davies, for violating the school’s honor code.
We’re obvious fans of BYU and their basketball team and while we’re disappointed in the situation we applaud the program for upholding the rules and not selling out their integrity just to win some basketball tournament. However few they might be there are some things more important than basketball.
How do you think this will affect the Cougar’s chances of winning the National Tournament? What do you think about BYU’s Honor Code? Are the merits of Jimmer Fredette enough to take them all the way? We think they’re still contenders.
