As San Francisco Chronicle columnist Herb Caen once wrote, “Just when you think tastelessness has reached its nadir, along comes a punk rock group called the Dead Kennedys.” Punk often has it’s greatest moments when politically fueled. “You might not think there’s any wisdom in an [eff'd] up punk rock song”, sings Bad Religion front man Greg Graffin. Perhaps, we all might want to start listening to what these “punks” have to say. They might be on to something.
