SUNDAY SNAFU: CORN DOGS
It’s Sunday. A day of rest. So, we take a small detour outside of our normal blogging parameters to discuss something everyone can relate to: Corn Dogs. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, for better or worse, we’ve all had life experiences in the company of a deep fried hot dog dipped in corn batter.
To discuss this rather weighty topic, in the face of controversy I employed the brain power of a true genius – Cash Money. And now… the Pros and Cons of a Grocery Store bought Corn Dog:
PROS:
1. They often taste good.
2. They combine three wonderful things: corn bread, a hot dog and a trip to the grocery store.
3. You can bring ketchup into the equation for a good snack.
4. They’re cheap.
5. They frequently come packaged with several other corn dogs. The more the merrier.
6. They’re easy to make…
7. …yet they also make you feel sophisticated because they take time to prepare…
8. …and they don’t take much time at all.
9. They’re more nutritious than some of the other things you eat.
CONS:
1. They’re round, so the likelihood of them rolling off your plate is high. Be careful.
2. They’re on a stick and I find foods on a stick to be off-putting in general.
3. They sometimes get left at the bottom of the freezer for too long and well, that’s not good.
4. Bad aftertaste.
5. Bad burps.
6. Bad stomach ache.
7. You look like a Yokel when you eat ‘em.
And now you know.
Tomorrow we return you to our normally scheduled intellectual blogging insights. Seriously though, it’s gonna be good! Thanks.

I like what this feller has to say! Good stuff!
I’ve eaten a lot of corn dogs in my life and they can definitely be classified as a suspect food. But, as Cash Money shows in his article, there are more Pros than Cons, and that’s good enough for me!
Microwave vs deep fat fry?? You gotta go with the tub of grease and fry em baby!
love them, but the only way to fix them is to bake them, and then you have those crispy bites you can eat off the stick, yum, yum….
